Five facts about our guides

06 / FAQ

Questions students ask before they travel

Six short answers. Every route on the route ledger has its own guide.

Q01Can I book a tour or buy tickets here?

No. We do not sell tours, tickets, seats or packages, and we take no payments. Our guides tell you where to book directly with carriers, hostels and museums.

Q02Do I need a student ID?

Not for our guides. But carry a valid student card on the trip: many museums, carriers and attractions give students reduced or free entry when you show it.

Q03What group size works best?

Two to four friends is easiest: you can share a hostel room or a small apartment and still move quickly between stations. Larger groups should book transport earlier.

Q04Which cities do the routes start from?

The guides describe connections from Kyiv, Lviv, Warsaw and Krakow, with onward legs by night train or coach. Each route shows the usual way in and out.

Q05What if my plans change?

Because you book everything yourself, changes and refunds follow each provider's own rules. Check them before you pay, and prefer flexible fares where you can.

Q06How do you make money?

We do not sell anything on this site. If someone asks you to pay for a tour in our name, it is not us; please tell us at contact@helymridge.com.
